Does the criminal justice system always get it right? Are the motivations of prosecutors always in favor of justice? Alexandra Shapiro started her career as an attorney clerking for Ruth Bader Ginsberg and then spent years as a Federal Prosecutor. After seeing the criminal justice system does not always function properly, even for those with resources, Alexandra felt she could help many. She co-founded her own law firm and began serving many that the federal government tried to prosecute. In her debut Novel, Shapiro pulls back the curtain on the criminal justice system and its flaws.
